Join Collins Aerospace as an Engineering Procurement Specialist and play a critical role at the center of engineering program execution, material readiness, and build success. In this highly collaborative position. You will serve as a key liaison between supply chain, quality, operations, engineering and program teams—ensuring materials, suppliers, and systems are aligned to meet demanding schedules and critical objectives.

This is a hybrid role (typically working 2-4 days onsite per week) in Cedar Rapids, IA. However, there may be a slight preference for a candidate who is willing to work onsite full time. This role is NOT eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do:
Procure parts, tools, fixtures, and equipment for engineering labs
Support engineering proof-of-concept and proof-of-function prototypes
Evaluates engineering procurement needs and uses available tools to determine the most effective procurement strategy ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures
Acts as the primary liaison for the material and supply organization, partnering with program, operations, engineering, and planning teams to guide and align supply chain processes
Reviews and manages a variety of materials, supplies, and services in support of program requirements
Evaluates needs and recommends suppliers aligned to program objectives, ensuring execution through order completion
Provides supply chain support across multiple sites for Avionics ensuring consistent execution of procurement processes
