General Notes

This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Purpose

The Social Science/Humanities Research Professional (Part-Time) role provides support with data collection and data management, partnership and communication with project collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quantitative and qualitative data collection across multiple research projects using approved methods in collaboration with the research team.
  • Translate study results and intervention tools into visually appealing and translatable information for variety of audiences in partnership with research team members and collaborators.
  • Responsible for data cleaning and coding, and database management for descriptive project reporting and analyses for academic journal manuscripts.
  • Establish and maintain strong, positive relationships and communication with project partners to support collaborative research efforts, including sharing research and training opportunities as well as managing training enrollment and communication.
  • Provide support with writing, editing, reviewing scientifiic literature and managing references and citations for grant proposals and academic journal articles. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in a related social science field with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Significant experience with data management, analysis and reporting with large datasets. Significant clinical or research experience in mental health field. Excellent attention to detail. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral Degree in a related social science with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Experience conducting multi-site evaluation and intervention studies. Experience conducting fidelity visits for evidence-based psychiatric rehabilitation models. 

Salary Range

$70,000 - $75,000 (Prorated: $35,000 - $37,500 @ 20 hours/week) - depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

Work Shift

  • M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
