About the role

The Team

The Workplace Wellbeing Inclusion and Engagement (i.e., Staff Wellbeing) team is part of the Organisation Safety and Wellbeing Unit within the People and Culture Portfolio. The team leads the design, development and implementation of Departmental-wide wellbeing programs and services. The team adopts evidence-based approaches that help to foster inclusivity and enable our staff to thrive, prevent harm, and respond effectively to mental ill-health.
Our work includes:
• Strategic wellbeing and inclusion advice to support leaders and their teams to be safe, healthy and well at work
• Capability building via coordination and provision of professional learning about workplace wellbeing and inclusion
• Design and coordination of universal and customised wellbeing and inclusion programs
• Resource development and service procurement to support wellbeing strategies.
• Monitoring and evaluation of staff wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.

About the Role

The Senior Consultant role will support to the Wellbeing Inclusion and Engagement team to deliver strategic people initiatives and projects, including key actions aligned to the department’s strategic direction, that enable systemic support for the wellbeing, inclusion and engagement of all staff. The role will form part of a team that drives organisational change in relation to health, wellbeing and inclusion through the design and delivery of evidence-based programs and initiatives across the department, and engagement with individuals and groups within all levels of the organisation.

We are looking for

Essential

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment

Desirable

  • Qualifications and experience in an allied health or health promotion discipline.
