Ensure maintenance activities follow safe work practices, permits; support audits and incident investigations.
Maintenance Planning & Execution
Coordinate and dispatch daily maintenance work (preventive, predictive, and corrective) across cell manufacturing assets (e.g., mixing, coating, calendering, assembly, formation, test, utilities).
Maintain and optimize Preventative and Predictive Maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, and work instructions to support uptime and development needs.
Review work orders, prioritize based on safety, impact, and schedule, and ensure timely closure with quality documentation.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
Technical Leadership
Provide first-level technical guidance to maintenance technicians and Technical Operations Specialists on mechanical, electrical, controls, and robotics issues.
Support equipment commissioning, upgrades, and trials in partnership with engineering and suppliers.
Promote standard methods, troubleshooting guides, and best practices across shifts.
Reliability, Documentation & Systems
Use maintenance management systems (Maximo) to manage work orders, downtime, and asset history.
Track and help deliver KPIs such as uptime, MTTR/MTBF, response time, and maintenance backlog.
Ensure accurate documentation of changes, repairs, and settings to support traceability and repeatability.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, central EHS teams, and Facilities to plan maintenance around builds and trials.
Identify and implement improvements that reduce unplanned downtime, improve maintainability, and enhance safety.
Support GMS and continuous-improvement activities (e.g., problem-solving, standard work, visual management).
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Technical degree, completed apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field).
Significant experience as a maintenance or technical operations specialist in manufacturing, pilot, or development environments.
