Schedule: AM Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday (May - October)

We are seeking a new Landscaper to join our team. Your role will be to maintain the outdoor upkeep by cutting of the lawn, trimming shrubs, performing annual plantings and tree maintenance, to keep up the appearance of the facility.  As a member of the Environmental Services department, you will work with other Landscapers, Painters, Maintenance techs and report to our Director of Environmental Services

What You Will Do:

• Vehicle pickup of landscaping supplies necessary to the job
• Perform the regular lawn cutting, trimming and clean up on a regular basis.
• Install and water annuals and perennial plantings around the facility, both in ground and in planters
• Weed control through pulling or use of herbicides, and other lawn maintenance
• Set  up for outside events and outdoor lawn furniture and equipment
• Coordinates the maintenance and repairs of all landscaping equipment, per the recommendation of the manufacturer
• Practice self-supervision on small jobs to ensure you complete projects in an efficient, timely manner.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Some experience in landscaping or lawn care preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Empathy, compassion, and active listening skills.
• Prior landscaping experience is a plus, but not required.
