About the role

Join our Demand Excellence team as a Regional Demand Lead, where you'll be part of the Planning Excellence Organization. This role is designed to improve outcomes, drive simplification, and support excellent process performance through the adoption of Lean, AstraZeneca, and Industry best practices for the Operations Demand Planning process. You'll work with various teams to enable high process performance, standardization, stability, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The specifics of the role will evolve as the process and organization evolves.

What you will do:

  • Be an expert in the AZ Demand Planning processes and systems.

  • Ensure links to connected processes are understood and optimized.

  • Facilitate the monthly Operations forecast submission process for agreed Regions and Demand streams

  • Develop Demand Planning Processes and training materials

  • Deliver training and user assessment on Demand Planning processes and applications, and actively participate in or lead Demand and Supply related processes and application projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree- Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT or relevant work experience

  • APICS

  • MSC / MBA

  • Experience as a Demand Planning / Forecasting manager

  • S&OP / IBP contributor, lead

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Consumer goods, electronics Industries

  • Lean Process Management

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Oral and written fluency in Business English

  • Proven track record working cross-functionally with a high level of commitment and follow-through

  • Project management understanding & practice

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with key Stakeholders

  • Applications: APS packages from APO, Kinaxis, OMP, Other, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years Pharmaceutical in Demand Management / Forecasting management role or Consulting role

  • Proven participation in multinational Process and IT change programs.
