<h2><b>The Impact You'll Make</b></h2> <p><span>Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) is looking for a <strong>Cost Down Consultant</strong> to drive impactful cost-reduction initiatives across our European manufacturing sites. With a focus on optimizing <strong>Indirect Costs</strong> (MRO, Transport &amp; Logistics, Packaging, Energy &amp; Utilities), you will lead value-driven consulting projects that reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and enhance our contribution margins</span></p> <p> </p> <p>As part of our global organization with over 61 factories worldwide, you will be responsible for consulting on and leading targeted projects of up to six months duration. The role requires flexibility to travel approximately 60% of the time across the region. When not on-site, you’ll have the freedom to work from home or from one of our offices.</p><h2><b>What You’ll Be Doing</b></h2> <p><span>As a Cost Down Consultant, you will work closely with site teams, procurement, logistics, and other support functions, as well as external suppliers, to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities. You’ll act as a trusted advisor and change agent, fostering a performance-driven mindset within the organization.</span></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>Lead consulting engagements focused on identifying and implementing indirect cost optimization opportunities</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate with site stakeholders to define project scope, analyze data, and build cross-functional teams</span></li> <li><span>Prepare business cases and tactical implementation plans (TIP) to support decision-making</span></li> <li><span>Drive Performance Management (PMS) to track progress, resolve roadblocks, and ensure delivery on targets</span></li> <li><span>Report project outcomes to senior management and support knowledge sharing across sites</span></li> <li><span>Promote a culture of sustainable cost focus and continuous improvement across the European region</span></li> </ul> <p> </p><h2><b>What We're Looking For</b></h2> <p><span>You bring a strategic consulting mindset with hands-on implementation skills.
