ABOUT THIS POSITION:
As a Linux Systems Administrator at INflow Federal, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting our Linux-based systems. Your strong Linux skills, experience as a Linux system administrator, and troubleshooting capabilities will be vital in addressing operational issues and solving problems as they arise. This role requires a hands-on approach, focusing on operations and firefighting problems to ensure system stability and reliability.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
• Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
• Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
• Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
• Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of related systems administration experience
• Troubleshooting skills for operational issues
• Scripting experience (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Automation experience

Desired Skills:

• Kubernetes
• Ansible
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• GitLab

Clearance Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI (with ability to obtain CI poly)
