The organization employs over 2,000 people, operates five job-training centers, 23 nonprofit retail stores and more than 27 donation sites in King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom and Kitsap Counties. Title: Senior Vice President, People & Culture
Salary Range: $202,500 - $225,000/annually
FLSA Status: Exempt

About the Position
Reporting directly to the CEO and overseeing a team of 24, the Senior Vice President, People & Culture, will be accountable for transforming Evergreen Goodwill’s people operations, culture, organizational structure, and policies to align with business objectives and the organization’s mission for the ~2000 people we employ and the~6000 people we serve.
The SVP will lead the implementation of key Human Resources best practices and initiatives, providing strategic guidance across the full spectrum of the People and Culture function. Additionally, the SVP will champion a strong and effective culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, collaborating closely with the Executive and Leadership Teams to achieve the organization’s strategic goals.

Strategic
◦ Develop and implement a human resources plan that aligns with the overall mission and strategy of the organization, resulting in innovative, best practices and policies that will service the full range of HR needs and help build a high-performing culture of success, accountability, transparency and collaboration.
◦ Gain an understanding of the organization, its mission and business and participate fully in all strategic deliberations.
◦ Be a Strategic partner to all members of the Executive and Leadership Teams. Lead and provide insightful, innovative thinking and problem solving on critical people and culture direction.
◦ Optimize the HR function/team, modernize and refine key processes and activities aligned toward achieving strategic objectives.
◦ Provide leadership and guidance on special projects, analytics & reporting, talent reviews, training, change management, and organizational design.
◦ Advance and build the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion competencies, serve as the key leader in implementing programs, policies and other necessary changes that position Evergreen Goodwill as a model business and employer in DEI practices.
Operational
◦ Identify and develop comprehensive solutions to employee development, retention and onboarding through compensation and benefit policies, training, career paths, and professional learning opportunities.
◦ Oversee total rewards and compensation practices and philosophy to ensure appropriate salary benchmarking.
◦ Respond to the HR demands of a regional organization with geographically distributed sites throughout Northwest Washington.
