What will I be doing?

• Overseeing the Product function for the core products.
• Conducting discovery activities to formulate a customer-centric product roadmap, prioritising features that deliver maximum value.
• Aligning stakeholders and build a clear roadmap, maintaining focus on optimising and validating paths to realize the product vision.
• Developing an outcomes-driven product strategy aligning with the company vision and current business needs.
• Prioritising both important, non-urgent and important, urgent tasks to achieve strategic goals.
• Driving results that align business, product, and partner strategies, collaborating with engineering, design, and data teams for rapid iteration.
• Expedite merchant bugs by seamlessly integrating features and addressing their requests through effective feedback mechanisms.
• Designing discovery and delivery plans for efficient learning and iteration, minimising development time.
• Understand merchant needs and how product features impact their business beyond Loop's context.
• Act as the product expert, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver user value.
• Fostering a product management culture by engaging with stakeholders, educating the team on their needs, and elevating awareness to solve problems.
• Demonstrating empathy and curiosity in addressing complex issues, showcasing a genuine interest in solving problems for users.

What skills do I need?

• 2+ years of relevant software product management experience for this role, with a track record of managing teams.
• Extensive experience managing high-performing product organisations at the "managing managers" level.
• Proficient oversight of a broad product scope.
• A strong interest in adhering to best practices within software teams and providing coaching.
• While your primary role is as a PM, you also find joy in delving into the latest developments in DevSecOps.
• Interest in shaping and directing product strategies, with a focus on both people and operational aspects of product design leadership.
• Ability to provide honest and constructive feedback, fostering professional growth within the team
• Genuine enthusiasm for software products, particularly emerging technologies like AI, with articulate communication on their functionality.
• Comfort and proficiency in business and strategic dimensions, actively driving measurable business growth.
• Motivated by a growth mindset, ownership of challenges, comfort with ambiguity, product building passion, improvement drive, craftsmanship, impact, and optimism for the future.
