Position Summary:
This RC Maintenance Analyst partners with shoreside teams supporting over 1,200 shipboard employees from all levels of the organization across six different brands. This individual will be responsible for generating cabin requests once jobs are approved by assigned stakeholders. He/She will also analyze and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and work closely with HR to solve any potential issues. This position is very dynamic and many times requires fast actions and immediate decision making. Excellent communication skills and cooperative mind are needed for this position. He/she also makes operational recommendations related to the Royal Caribbean Maintenance Teams (RCMT).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Update RCMT scheduling for all ships, including ship request and schedules and review the status of assignments.
2. Create cabin requests for approved jobs in applicable system.
3. Communicate with ships, teams and other relevant stakeholders regarding the scheduled job requests and related items.
4. Prepares budgets and forecasts to submit to GMTS Management and Brand Operations as related to RCMT and projects.
5. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data including financial information, survey results, and ECC usage related to RCMT as required.
6. Formulate efficient methods for handling large amounts of data, including a database solution.
7. Identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency through this analysis and other information.
8. Coordinate with and communicate business needs to Marine PMO regarding the ongoing use and development of the Riding Crew Web Management Tool
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development of budgets, forecasts, and job-specific reporting to all brands under RCCL for all accounts related to RCMT. Annual budget for this area exceeds $20M.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, IT or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years industry-related experience
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word.
- Knowledge of JDEdwards accounting/HR software and Essbase a plus.
