HEALTH CARE DIVISION

Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell is looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join her Health Care Division (HCD).  HCD enforces consumer protection laws to protect the rights of health care consumers, partners with agencies and market participants to improve the affordability and accessibility of the Commonwealth’s health care system, operates a public-facing helpline, and mediates consumer complaints about health care payers and providers.

Primary Duties: 

·         Provide direct support to the Division Chief and Division Assistant Attorneys General, including preparing reports and correspondence, managing calendars, and responding to phone calls.

·         Process complaint intakes and make internal and external referrals.

·         Review all other external correspondence received by HCD for appropriate action.

·         Track cases and compile records, ensuring accuracy.

·         Respond to inquiries from the public in a professional and timely manner.

·         Assist in the development, implementation, and presentation of HCD priorities.

·         Collaborate with HCD’s Public Records Officer to respond to requests for records.

·         Serve as the division’s contact for other bureaus and divisions within the Attorney General’s Office.

Position Type:  Full-Time/Non-Exempt.  

Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. On in-office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.

Salary: $58,290
