Join Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, as an Supply Chain Intern and play a crucial role in our material and supply organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in complex problem-solving, evaluate and recommend suppliers, and influence the long-term objectives of our procurement processes while working with senior personnel in a dynamic environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as the primary liaison between the material and supply organization and other technical personnel, advising on process functions and requirements.
  • Review a high volume and/or variety of materials, supplies, and services.
  • Evaluate bids, select and recommend suppliers, and manage follow-up on all awards until order completion.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems, leveraging established precedents and policies.
  • Network with senior internal and external personnel, representing the organization on significant contracts or projects.
  • Utilize ERP systems and processes to manage outcomes for assigned commodity types.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience with SAP
