About The Role & Team
The Operations team at Webull is responsible for managing the full trade lifecycle, including all post-trade activities, clearance, and settlements. This team plays a pivotal role in our firm’s success, collaborating across departments to optimize processes.
We are excited to bring on an Operations Associate to join the team on Wall Street. As an Operations Analyst here at Webull, you will be instrumental in processing corporate actions and trade break resolutions. Your keen attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of these critical operations.
In This Role, You Will
- Perform essential operational tasks such as corporate actions processing, account reconciliation, trade break resolution, handling of firm account fund balances and journal entries, and stock merger/dividend payouts.
- Prioritize client inquiries received via CRM or phone to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues; collaborate with internal and client services teams to maintain a high standard of customer care and support.
- Administer and oversee the delivery process for security proxies, prospectuses, and voluntary corporate events.
- Handle the lifecycle of various account transfers including ACATs, DRS, DWAC, FRs and FOPs.
- Engage directly with clearing firms, vendors, international branches, and end customers to ensure operational excellence and integrity.
- Analyze existing operations protocols to identify areas for process optimization.
The Skills You Bring
- In-depth understanding of the operational workflows, regulatory landscape, and financial instructions (equities, options, fixed income) pertinent to our product lines.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- Mandatory possession of a Series 7 license.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant role within the financial services industry.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and evenings; provide support for critical operational activities outside standard business hours.
- Solid understanding of corporate actions and awareness of their impact on firm risk and capital.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently during after-hours.
- Strong communication skills with a keen attention to detail for effective collaboration and crisis management.
