Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Intelligence Analyst - Principal Specialist to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).
What You Will Do
Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, data analysis, and data reporting
Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems
Provide technical consultation to the customer on system availability and potential enhancements to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
Document and maintain operational event logs and records. Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
Develop new operational procedures and techniques in a dynamic high ops-tempo work environment
Work in a closed environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Intel Operations, Satellite Operations/Analysis and a minimum 5 years of prior relative experience
An active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Excellent organizational skills; able to frame requirements, set priorities, develop practical methods and align training to meet customer goals
SIGINT analysis and support functions experience at various levels to support technical operations
Experience in ELINT signals analysis, system monitoring and resource allocation, utilizing many tool suites, (i.e. Linux, Vaquero, SkyMap, iSpy, etc.)
Experience performing research and data exploitation from various sources to prepare operational or technical reports, conduct training in one or more areas of expertise, and, be able to perform major delivery system checkout
Experience using multiple software applications simultaneously in a fast-passed operations environment
