What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Senior Director, RBC US Business Transformation, this role will be accountable for leading and driving integrated business, operating, and functional transformation workstreams and/or initiatives across the region that enhance the focus on target client segments in support the U.S. growth strategy. This role will partner across the region and multiple lines of business and functional areas to support the development and implementation of new and existing programs that will involve cross-business go-to-market approaches, enhancement of product capabilities, enabling simplification and consistency to drive the strategy forward.
What will you do?
- Support leadership and play a significant role supporting the RBC US businesses and functions in implementing the US strategy and achieving their financial results.
- Lead the execution of cross-RBC US workstreams and/or initiatives that support the US strategy and enable simplification and consistency in RBC’s business processes and practices across the region
- Drive a more integrated approach to serving clients and more consistent RBC presence in the US through enhanced client capabilities and value propositions.
- Unify towards a One RBC approach to serving target client segment needs leveraging best-in-class capabilities across RBC US businesses.
- Executes relevant activities and holds teams accountable to operate within risk appetite, limits and policies, understanding the risks being undertaken.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Strong knowledge of and ability to work through and within global organization matrix, while effectively balancing both enterprise and regional needs
- Ability to impact and influence, build relationships, and collaborate across segments, functions, businesses
- Exceptional at cultivating relationships, managing stakeholders and collaborating across lines of business and functions; knows how to influence without authority in a matrixed organization; ability to operate effectively at global, regional and local levels, as required
- Strong results orientation, with a bias toward action
- Strong organization skills, and ability to multi-task across multiple cross-functional workstreams
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Financial modelling, and workshop facilitation capabilities
- Experience working in / with the US; strong credibility in the US
- Deep expertise in developing and executing on complex business strategies and delivering transformation across lines of business and/or in a matrixed organization; planning and managing complex initiatives
- Undergraduate degree
Nice-to-haves:
- Preference of location in New York, however open to candidates who are willing/able to travel
- Graduate degree

The expected salary for this particular position is $160,000-250,000 depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
