Your Team
The North America Product Governance Team supports and guides our business partners in product governance with US regulatory requirements in conjunction with Legal NA, including preparation of rates, rules, and policy forms for filing and negotiation of approvals. Our mission is to promote consistency between LOBs related to rates, rules and forms and help navigate the North American regulatory requirements to help facilitate speed to market for any product changes.
The Impact You Will Have
As Regulatory Senior Compliance Analyst, you are responsible for ensuring our admitted products for each writing entity are in compliance with government regulations through the submission of rate, rule and form filings to state Departments of Insurance via SERFF.
Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Filing the forms, rates, loss costs and rules developed with state insurance regulators to comply with statutory requirements and to market to our policyholders.

Utilizing the NAIC (SERFF) and Florida I-File automated software application for filings.

Working with actuary staff and LoBs to develop statistically sound supporting data for filing submission.

Coordinating activities and ensuring timely submission of loss costs, rates, rules and form adoptions.

Negotiating approval with the state Departments of Insurance.

Maintaining StateFilings.com.

Maintaining record of form numbers by LoB and assigning new numbers as requested by line of business.

Researching filing requirements and staying informed regarding various procedures and processes that can impact the implementation and compliance of a new product or program.

Understanding deregulations guidelines by state.

Understanding and staying abreast of trends in the industry.

Tracking policyholder notice requirements, including maintaining knowledge of cancellation and nonrenewal requirements and where they can be found.

Advising on issues to ensure compliant underwriting and policy issuance as requested.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
-
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in regulatory and government relations for a Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Company, including knowledge of P&C products;

Experience reviewing and analyzing state statutes and regulations;

Experience performing rate, rule and form analysis;
