Senior Product Operations Manager

About the Role

The Product Operations team is the connective tissue between Skydio’s engineering and product development teams and the teams who connect with our customers. As a Senior Product Operations Manager, you will play a key role on Skydio’s Product team across a broad range of strategic and operational responsibilities. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Customer Success Managers, Hardware Program Managers, Sales, and our Legal and Regulatory teams, to help launch and ensure the success of new products and features across a wide range of applications into global and domestic markets. The ideal candidate approaches things with a technical mindset, but leverages strong interpersonal skills to work across domains to drive process and organization improvements while getting short term projects across the line.

Location

This position is based onsite 5 days/week at our HQ in San Mateo, CA.

 How you'll make an impact:

• Own the rollout of major feature releases and new product launches
• Manage multiple streams of work, tracking the features needed to enable new markets
• Maintain and improve the feedback loop for new product features, helping to provide prioritization within the product roadmap
• Collaborate with key team members (product, marketing, policy, support, design) to ensure pre and post launch success
• Contribute to Skydio’s Voice of the Customer report with emerging trends and developments 

What would make you a strong fit:

• 3+ years of proven success in a similar role, driving successful operational programs within product development and/or customer success organizations at a high-growth company
• Specific experience with product development
• Detail-oriented with exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Experience with data visualization, dashboard creation, and SQL
• Highly motivated and highly curious, with an eagerness to learn and grow
• Familiarity with business systems and tools (e.g., JIRA, Zendesk, Confluence, Salesforce)

Nice-to-haves:

• Drone/UAV experience and/or a passion for drones
• Experience launching hardware products
• Technical degree or background

Compensation: At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000*.
