Tri Star Energy seeks an experienced, dedicated, qualified Field Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. This position will spend most of the time in the field following up on maintenance tickets and repairing equipment, so no need to live too close. The Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing required and preventative maintenance at company stores and facilities in a professional and timely manner. Primary Responsibilities:
Tri Star Energy seeks an experienced, dedicated, qualified Field Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Maintenance team. This position will spend most of the time in the field following up on maintenance tickets and repairing equipment, so no need to live too close. The Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing required and preventative maintenance at company stores and facilities in a professional and timely manner. Primary Responsibilities:
- Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment, including painting, plumbing, flooring, sheetrock, and general building upkeep.
- Visually inspects and tests machines, systems, and equipment.
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and/or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems and repair equipment.
- Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment, installs new or repaired parts and motors, and adjusts as needed.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
- Replaces and/or repairs machine belts.
- Performs all work to industry standards, complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations.
- Follows safe work habits and cleans up the area after completing maintenance and/or repairs.
- Maintains confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information.
- Reacts productively to change.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance operations
- Understanding of facility spacing (i.e., location of HVAC units, condenser units, underground piping/electrical, etc.)
- Valid state-issued Driver's' License.
- Willingness to travel daily to assigned stores and facilities. Home Daily.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations.
