Job Description

We are using ML to improve our large utilities client’s internal application used to monitor power lines. Our efforts will help to mitigate wildfires by allowing our client to proactively address power line-related issues across the State of California. This is a highly visible, highly impactful project with implications for millions of customers.

As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will leverage a diverse set of technical expertise, including DevOps tooling, troubleshooting and debugging skills, cloud computing, coding/scripting, and infrastructure engineering to provide outstanding customer experiences. You’ll work in highly collaborative teams, leveraging cross-group collaboration skills, communication, and relationship-building skills.

About the team

The Logic20/20 Digital Transformation team applies design thinking and next-gen technologies to solve our clients- toughest business challenges. You will work side-by-side with architects, managers, and engineering consultants to gain a 360-degree perspective of the challenge at hand while contributing your unique perspective to develop innovative solutions.

About you

• You have strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• You have hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tooling stack (Kinesis, CI/CD, etc).
• You value customer experience and focus on what is possible versus what is standard practice in the industry.
• You can communicate with key stakeholders and translate business requirements into technological solutions.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in and deploying on AWS
• Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), specifically Terraform
• 2+ years of exp with Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GitHub
• Exposure to SageMaker deployments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in computer vision
• Experience deploying and fine-tuning ML models
• Experience within the Utilities industry and/or experience supporting wildfire mitigation initiatives

Additional Information

California State base compensation range: $140,000 - 164,500, DOE.
