<p></p><p><strong>Come join the new Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization. This organization is characterized as a co-located &amp; process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the rest of the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs). It all builds on a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><br/>The department is a Process driven business model with the following departments : Layup , Infusion, Bonding, Handling &amp; Logistics, Finish &amp; Paint, Root Systems and a central based function within  Technical Integration. The Process teams are distributed around our Manufacturing sites. The New Blades Process Engineering VP reports to the SVP of Blades Manufacturing.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Design, and optimize tools for the Root System processes (mass produced items) including tool development, tooling requirements and specifications , and tool industrialization and standardization</li> <li>Create tooling and supplier roadmap via analysis of AS IS and future state</li> <li>Supplier management</li> <li>CAPEX Budget: Tool Delivery (TPM), Service and maintenance strategy including EAM, Tool optimization including tool in use today, Be part of building a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability</li> <li>Use digital tools like digital twins and data analytics to improve performance and make data-driven decisions</li> <li>Investigate and solve production issues using structured methods such as the 5x Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and FMEA</li> <li>Applying continuous improvement principles using quality tools like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and ensure final product quality</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar</li> <li>GB Six Sigma of Advance Manufacturing Process Analysis </li> <li>10 years experience working with Tool development for mass produced items, tools functional requirements specification, leading tooling projects or using data process analyses</li> <li>Deep understanding of how the manufacturing processes can be automized for the benefit of the product quality</li> <li>Composite materials knowledge, understanding of  glue, fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins, and other materials used in production</li> <li><span>Experience with Process Requirements formulation and Process flow creation and data process analyses at a high level</span></li> <li><span>Facilitated optimization and standardization within manufacturing processes  (Mass production) with use of the toolbox also mentioned above</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Competencies </strong></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Able to develop and or specify the functions of tools to Root System process mass produced items, including equipment for quality control and online process measurements</li> <li>You are interested and willing to spend time in the factory environment as required to understand and solve problems</li> <li>You can be an integral part of cross functional product development projects</li> <li>You are self-motivated; result-oriented and possess great organizational discipline</li> <li>You find it exciting and interesting to work with other people in a large organization and can build up an intensive network across cultures and time zones and work with stakeholders</li> <li>You are customer-oriented and can understand the complete business value chain seen from a customer perspective</li> <li>You are committed to learning</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer </strong></p> <p> </p> <p><br/>We offer you an exciting and challenging job with excellent professional and personal development opportunities in a highly professional, international work environment at the world's leading manufacturer of wind turbines - and the most sustainable company in the world.
