Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor
Role & Responsibilities:
· Safely direct a Supply Chain crew while remaining in close contact with the loading service, carriers, Logistics, and production personnel
· Incorporate Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and are followed at all times.
· Navigate the loading and warehouse area checking on forklift availability, proper stacking, housekeeping, etc.
· Prioritize the attainment of key shipping metrics so as to optimize on-time delivery to customers.
· Manage warehouse logistics to keep existing stock rotated and space available for new incoming stock.
· Perform administrative functions as required for the position.
· Must be willing to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
· Adaptable to shift assignment and overtime requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Must meet the requirements for a supervisor as established in the plant Operator rate Program.
· Prior experience as a supervisor in a full-time or relief role is preferred but not required.
· Business minded, people and results oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
· Self-starter, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
· Demonstrated leadership potential including personal accountability, decision-making and problem-solving capability.
· Ability to develop relationships in a diverse workforce environment by prioritizing coaching and engagement.
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
