Multi-Cloud Technical Project Manager

Are you looking for exciting new Project Manager Role that blends traditional and agile project management methodologies to deliver Multi-Cloud Projects?  The Multi-Cloud Program is looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager to join the team to lead critical projects and program workstreams.  We want someone who has a proven track level of providing leadership to the project teams, communicating to stakeholders, and successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.

The Multi-Cloud IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading Multi-Cloud related projects, applying technical expertise to drive project results. The candidate will be part of the Multi-Cloud Program Management Office supporting projects for Azure, GCP, Multi-Cloud Target Operating Model, and possibly other Clouds.  The day-to-day candidate should have exceptional communication skills to support stakeholders, experience with Project Management Tools to track projects, and strong presentations skills for project updates.

This role:

• Manages technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.

• Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.

• Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

• Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.

• Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.

• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

• Facilitation of scrum sessions to align resource workload with departmental strategy

What it takes:

• Minimum of five years work experience of managing projects.

• Financial Services and technical experience preferred.

• Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred.

• PMP and/or CSM Certification preferred.

• Cloud Experience (AWS, GCP or Azure Certs) preferred.

• Working knowledge and understanding in the full technology stack such as IT Infrastructure, Virtualization, Security, App/Dev, Cloud Models, and Technological Change.

• Hands-on experience with project and task management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within a matrix organization. Ability to work with offshore teams.

• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
