Salary Range:

$80,000.00 - $89,500.00 USD annually.

The Senior Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives works closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, direct, organize, and execute against project requirements for ASU Preparatory Academy; identify and acquire necessary resources and coordinate efforts by all parties to ensure timely delivery of quality project outcomes in accordance with expectations. This role enhances the impact of strategic projects/programs, models, partnerships, and work streams through comprehensive planning, management, and evaluation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field, required. Master’s preferred.

• 3-5  years of agile project management 

• Experience leading and managing multiple complex projects concurrently, required.

• Project management experience in educational settings is highly desirable, but not required.

• Experience managing partnerships and engaging stakeholders, fostering cross-functional collaboration and contributing to school design initiatives.

• PMP, SCRUM Master certification, Agile Project Management certification or an equivalent PM certification is required.

• Digital curriculum course development highly preferred

• Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, resource optimization, performance management, and closeout, while following ASU Prep project management guidelines and frameworks.

• Drive the development of comprehensive project strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure projects deliver measurable impact.

• Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, budget, and outcomes; identify critical resource expertise and target appropriate internal and/or external sources to ensure optimal outcome(s).

• Design and implement enterprise risk management frameworks to anticipate disruptions and organizational challenges while maintaining operational excellence.

• Prepare, maintain, and communicate all project status reports and schedules; track milestones and deliverables, critical paths and dependencies; reassess expectations as needed in consideration of project progress and outcomes.

• Respond to all inquiries regarding project status including standard protocol for project tracking; prepare and respond to all regulatory reporting and filings to ensure compliance.

• Manage, coach, and supervise all project team members, both internal and contracted to ensure optimal outcomes; builds, develops, and maintains relationships vital to project success.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, leadership, and other related staff to define and identify all required project infrastructure including, but not limited to: space, build/reconfiguration of facilities, equipment, technology and infrastructure to ensure timely availability for successful launch and ongoing project operations.

• Prepare all post-project reports, budget allocations and summaries and filings to ensure timely dissemination and communication of information to all interested parties.
