Mainframe Engineer Intern

Job Description

As a Mainframe Engineer Intern you will collaborate with the team to develop and implement mainframe system upgrades, patches, and fixes.

You will:

• Monitor system performance and capacity
• Maintain mainframe security measures
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system problems
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Our tech stack includes: z/OS, TCP/IP, FTP, JCL, IBM Utilities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Working toward a Computer Science, IT or similar degree
• Knowledge of OS command line
• Ability to determine and analyze software related problems 
• Ability to communicate problems and potential solutions 
• Comfortable taking direction to troubleshoot problems 
• Experience working closely with others in a team environment
