About the Role
Reporting to the CMO and working alongside the senior marketing leadership team, the Senior Director, Marketing Operations is a master of cross-functional leadership, a practiced decision-maker, determined problem solver, and capable of navigating competing demands and priorities. You will have an impact on the efficiency and productivity of the Marketing team by streamlining strategic business initiatives, driving program management, managing marketing budgets and communicating across the organization.
What You'll Do
Lead the PMO and Marketing operations function: consolidation and development of a cross functional hybrid PMO (Agile/DevOps/Kanban) organization including the development of the end to end process and core PM technology platforms to support across the marketing, Technology, and business transformation teams.
Establish Team KPI’s: Develop and implement operating reports to drive alignment, accountability and coordination across the team (from OKR’s to team communications and more)
Establish approach to prioritization and resource allocation: Create an inclusive and efficient way to establish operational priorities, plan resources, and manage trade-off decisions needed for Corporate Marketing initiatives
Vendor Management: Manage 3rd party contracts and vendors to ensure projects proceed on a timely basis.
Budget Management: Manage marketing team budgets and provide timely reports to marketing leadership
Team Leadership: Lead a high performing team of ~15 FTE
Strategic Planning: Work with the Marketing Operations Senior Manager to drive the annual and quarterly planning processes with Marketing leadership and across the broader team, working hand in hand with FP&A
Management Cadence: Work with Marketing Operations Senior Manager to manage weekly Marketing leadership meetings and monthly team meetings including setting the agenda, and tracking follow through to increase accountability.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and Marketing Operations by regularly evaluating processes, tools, and performance metrics. Identify areas for optimization and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall effectiveness. This could involve implementing retrospectives, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and staying abreast of industry best practices.
Foster Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing between the PMO, Marketing, Technology, and Business Transformation teams. Create platforms and opportunities for teams to connect, share best practices, and learn from each other. This could include communities of practice, knowledge bases, and regular cross-functional meetings.
Develop and Mentor Talent: Invest in the development and mentorship of PMO and Marketing Operations team members. Provide opportunities for skill enhancement, career growth, and professional development. This could involve creating training programs, offering mentorship opportunit
