S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an experienced & motivated Junior Client Management Specialist to assist in the facilitation of daily client deliverables within the WSO Accounting Services group.  The individual will be responsible for managing client inquiries and providing support for the WSOWeb outsourcing platform utilizing Wall Street Office (WSO), its supporting teams, and technologies.

WSO provides post settlement investment management services primarily in the syndicated, middle market, and direct lending spaces for asset managers, banks, custodians, private debt issuers, insurance companies, and market makers. As part of our managed service offerings within WSO you will provide support for WSO Accounting Services clients where you will interface with both internal and external clients, primarily encompassing accountants and operationally minded global teams. This is a highly demanding role within a strategic growth area of the business where a focus on data integrity and critical thinking are essential for success.

Candidates must have experience directly interfacing with customers and working through difficult questions in real time. It is highly valuable to possess working knowledge of syndicated and/or private credit with some exposure to fund accounting and general financial reporting highly preferable. Candidates should be creative, thoughtful, and able to solve problems by challenging the status quo.

Duties & Accountabilities

• Help Manage day-to-day client inquiries including the orchestration of workflow and timely resolution between internal teams.  Inquiry types include data reconciliation and validation, financial data delivery including asset performance, fund accounting and other investment reports.
• Run and manage multiple validations and audits to control core data and ensure internal operations teams are accurately reflecting data and set up for success by reviewing and taking corrective action on key risk areas.
• Where needed correct and/or accurately process transactions in WSO based on either agency bank information, client inquires, or control audits. This can include rollovers, paydowns, borrowings, interest, fee, PIK, trades, restructures etc.
• Assist all team members with as needed daily project management, data validation, and data deliverables.
• Provide overall support and customer service to entirety of Services clients; ensuring team coverage model of 8am-6pm CST is in place and operating Monday through Friday daily during US hours.

Education & Experience

• BA, BS or equivalent, from an accredited institution required.
• 2+ years of experience in business, finance or accounting preferred.
• Commercial awareness within the syndicated and/or private credit market
• Direct exposure to Wall Street Office, or similar platform, highly valued.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Excel experience valued i.e. Macro, V-Lookup, Charts, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Exposure to and understanding of financial concepts or investment markets, with preferences made to those with a background in the Financial Services industry.
• Strong work ethic, organized, detail oriented, analytical, and a desire to learn and improve upon existing workflows.
• Excellent customer service mindset.

• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
