Job Description

Employee Responsibilities: *This is a 2nd shift position*

• Follow all departmental procedures and SOPs; understand and apply GMP regulations to daily work; document data according to regulatory requirements
• Pull and prepare samples that have been requisitioned by an analyst
• Put away samples into assigned storage conditions that have been returned by the analyst
• Separate sample discards into proper areas for disposal
• Primary resource for analysts needing rush samples from Refrigerated or Frozen conditions
• Re-label samples and update storage conditions
• Conduct a daily check of the storage chambers to ensure it is functioning properly and the temperature is within specifications
• Respond to Environmental Monitoring System alarms for controlled sample storage within your window area

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies, logical thinking, and deductive reasoning
• Sense of urgency in rush situations

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
