Position Details: Offers nutrition counseling to students, plans wellness programming in dining locations including teaching kitchens, acts as food allergen expert, and assists with food service operations as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a CAMPUS DIETITIAN to join our Food Service Team with Chartwells Higher Education at University of Toledo in Toledo, OH! The university is home to over 15,000 students and 14 dining locations. Toledo is a metropolitan city with art museums, minor league baseball and 19 parks and trails. 

 

Responsibilities:
•    Provides nutrition education & training support for the campus community including tabling, lunch & learn sessions, one-on-one counseling, etc.
•    Implements Chartwells Higher Education wellness programming
•    Coordinates with the dining management team and culinary associates to meet dietary needs for all customers
•    Provides nutrition related training including food allergen training to all associates
•    Assists the management team with menu development and nutrient analysis
•    Collaborates with marketing to ensure appropriate nutrition communication & messaging
•    Leads Dining Services Sustainability efforts – partnering with operations and campus stakeholders to track, improve, and communicate sustainability efforts in all dining spaces
