Flour Tortilla Production Associate

Tacombi is a fast-growing, omni-channel consumer and retail brand that is committed to globally sharing Mexican food and culture through hospitality experiences, CPG products, community outreach and digital content. ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for experienced high-energy team players in operations to continue driving our fast growth and fast paced organization. This position requires someone who is passionate about Mexican traditions and delivering products of the highest quality and consistency, while keeping the company 100% compliant with both internal and external certifications, procedures, systems and processes. This position is perfect for people who thrive in a fast-growing startup environment and are not afraid of rolling up their sleeves, working with the team and getting things done.

*Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred

Job responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures 
• Follow all QA Procedures
• Follow all Safety Procedures
• Will have to make dough balls to meet required specifications (Size and Weight)
• Ability to operate machinery (Basic)
• Ability to work in a hot environment, will need to cook dough balls on Oven Machine 
• Pick and Pack tortillas into right specifications
• Keep process and quality control charts up to date 
• Make Sure all Tortillas meet Specification Requirements (Size, Thickness, Color)
• Clean Up Work Area after shift completion 
• This position is in one area but rotates between stations throughout the day

General requirements for this position:

• Legally eligible to work in the US 
• Experience in manufacturing or kitchen environment
• Flexible schedule is highly desired
• Manufacturing and kitchen equipment experience 

Requirements:

• Kitchen, bakery, food industry, restaurant experience is a plus
• Ability follow production schedules
• Good organizational and communication skills 
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and occasionally help team to carry loads up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast pace and team environment

Pay Rate: $16/hour
