Accounts Payable Technician HQ GS

Summary

 Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of  activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing. 

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Payable Technician position involves multiple dimensions and responsibilities including: 

• Invoice Identification 
• Routing invoices to the correct Simplot Approver & Location 
• Researching Invoice and Vendor history and payment methods 
• Matching and processing purchase orders to the correct receipts for payment 

 

Typical Education

High school diploma/GED required

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred

Relevant Experience

3+ years related experience and/or training

Required Certifications

Other Information

• 3 years+ related experience and/or training 

• Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e. A/P, A/R) 
• SAP experience preferred.
• Able to operate general business machines such as computer, and similar office equipment efficiently and accurately 
• Perform routine mathematical calculations 
• Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames 
• Must be punctual and have regular attendance 
• Works a hybrid schedule (3 days every 3 weeks in the office; all other days remote); 7:30am – 4pm
