Senior Software Engineer

*** This is an Austin, TX based position and requires commuting into the office 1-2x/week ***

SailPoint is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help build a new cloud-based SaaS Data Access Security team. We are looking for well-rounded backend engineer who is passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing complex features including collecting and processing huge amounts of data from different places spanning many different technologies.
• Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust microservices in AWS environment.
• Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing.
• Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong C# experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent people skills and a "can-do" attitude
• Independent, highly motivated self-learner

Preferred

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Continuous Delivery
• Relational Databases, SQL queries, Stored Procedures and Tuning experience
• BS in Computer Science, or a related field
• Storage subsystems and File Servers knowledge
