Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Chief Information and Digital Office (CIDO) is looking for a dynamic, innovative Chief Information and Digital Office Program Manager in the Defense Systems Sector CIDO to support the Global Command and Control Solutions (GC2S) within the Command and Control and Weapons Integration (CW)I Division. This motivated individual will provide overall technology thought leadership, strategy, and IT management for a multi-program portfolio.
This role is located in Huntsville Alabama and requires full-time on-site presences. The ideal candidate should bring a diverse perspective to the team and enhance the overall experience of the organization, with proven cross-functional team-building skills to solve unique challenges.
In this position, you will serve as the crucial link between the Chief Information and Digital Office and the senior management of GC2S, ensuring that information services align with the business requirements. You will effectively engage with information systems leadership and technical teams to optimize strategies, support customer goals, and provide leadership over information systems activities. This includes strategy development, budget and cost management, proposal development, product and service acquisition and delivery, as well as nurturing relationships and communication activities to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- IT strategy and operational activities including service delivery, technical requirements gathering, infrastructure solutions, and project execution.
- Liaison between facilities and security, when necessary, to drive optimal IT service environments.
- Maximize alignment of program IT and Security services with the Defense Systems sector/CIDO DS Program Management Office operating models, strategies, business objectives, and investments.
- Coordinate with division business leadership, homeroom managers, and end user groups to identify, plan, implement, and sustain IT and Security solutions to meet sector, division, and program strategic and tactical objectives.
- Act as the CIDO ambassador to programs and business leadership, functional organizations, and end-customers (users).
- Monitor customer satisfaction with IT service delivery and engage CIDO resources to assist as required to meet and exceed IT and Security service level objectives for the site.
- Identify systemic technical and service delivery challenges affecting the customer and then coordinate solutions with CIDO functional representatives; engage constructively to identify solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD and1 year of relevant experience; a High School diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
- Candidate must have an active or current DoD Secret security clearance with an adjudication or reinvestigation date within the past 5 years; the selected candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance within a period of time as determined by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
- The selected candidate will be required to obtain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) clearance within a period of time as determined by customer and/or program requirements; maintaining a SAP/SAR clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager with knowledge in cost, budgets, and schedules.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience using the following MS Office Suite tools: Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Exce
