Morgue Attendant | Part-Time | Overnight Shift.

11 pm - 7 am with regular schedules on weekend days and holidays.

NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center.

Under the supervision of the Dispatchers and the Manager of Patient Transport, prepares and removes bodies from patient units to morgue, maintains and cleans morgue, assembles and cleans orthopedic and central equipment. This is a non-professional service position.

Qualified candidates have extensive customer service experience and a desire to Put Patients First.  A high school diploma or GED and six months of related experience is required.  Candidates must be capable of performing tasks that requir dexterity, muscular strength, and physical endurance, which include, but is not limited to, pushing, lifting, pulling and supporting the weight of bodies.

Salary Range:

$26.61-$28.87/Hourly
