What will you do?

A day in the life of a Senior Manager, Enterprise QA at VF looks a little like this.

As a Sr. Manager, QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of software products across all pillars within the organization.  This will have a focus on the enterprise application space.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Collaborate with functional leaders and stakeholders across enterprise apps
• Manage QA team to ensure organizational standards are met
• Develop QA framework for the enterprise area that meshes with the digital space.
• Ensure checks and balances between development teams and quality assurance teams.
• Build strong working relationships to drive a best-in-class QA and testing automation experience in the enterprise application area.
• Collaborate with senior leadership across all pillars to align quality assurance efforts with business objectives and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with the engineering team, both insourced and with outsourced partners to develop common test harnesses and tools
• Collaborate with functional leaders in the enterprise space to develop automated test cases.
• Drive excellent documentation and maintain high quality test plans and test reporting
• Establish robust and scalable processes to drive high quality product delivery
• Drive test processes and procedures to enable rapid and parallel release cycles
• Ensure products are assessed in regards to compliance and security requirements

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 10 years of experience and professional achievements. 

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
• 10+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience or of leading teams through testing phases in multiple projects
• 3+ years of technical leadership experience in large, complex organizations
• Experience with Software Quality Assurance software (e.g., Rational Quality Manager, HP Quality Center), JIRA, or other testing tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in test automation and the design and implementation of automation frameworks
• Experience with QA methodologies in both waterfall and agile software development life cycles

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: 

• You will be co-located with project teams, in a digital hub or at the relevant business location, with possible occasional travel.
• Hybrid Office Arrangement – 3 days per week in office, 2 days remote work
