Part-time Maintenance Technician

Metro Storage LLC is a vertically integrated, single-purpose company specializing in all disciplines related to self-storage.  We are seeking self-driven people with high integrity to join our team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Facility Management and a general understanding of all mechanical systems
• Assist in security contracts for all outside vendor work
• Performs general cleaning of inside and outside of property
• General Maintenance abilities including:
• Painting
• Doors – replace hasps, preventative maintenance, repairing gates, cutting locks
• Storage Units – caulking, sealants, drywall, minor framing repair
• Knowledge and experience with basic hand tools
• These skills are a plus but not required:
• Electrical – ballasts, interior and exterior lighting
• Minor Plumbing
• Roof – general cleaning and basic structural assessment
• HVAC – preventative maintenance
