This position pays $18.40/hr with a $1.00 shift increase for 2nd Shift

Job Description: This position is responsible for maintaining the overall productivity of the 28 Degree Room department.

Job Synopsis: Primary tasks include department set-up; insure USDA, production, SSOP and HACCP requirements are met in the 28* room. Assist supervisor in monitoring labor, changeovers, product flow and rotation, and making decisions based on product mix and attendance. Other responsibilities include relieving line personnel as needed, fill-in for absenteeism as necessary, and insure general housekeeping. Fill in for Supervisor in their absence. This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Assist Supervisor in day-to-day operations of debone operation.
