Location Control Manager - Senior Associate

<p>An exciting opportunity to join the Control Management team in Dublin!</p> <p>As a Location Control Management Senior Associate within our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the location has a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end governance model, partnering with Business and Functional stakeholders to ensure issues identified are remediated in a timely manner and escalated as appropriate. </p> <p><strong>Job responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators, and technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices </li> <li>Assist management team to advise on and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant issues to support an evolving business and regulatory environment</li> <li>Execute the control evaluation roadmap to facilitate the effectiveness of key controls and proactively identify control gaps </li> <li>Provide input for the end to end execution of the controls agenda including issue management, error analysis and resolution and proactive control reviews</li> <li>Ensure operational practices are in compliance with relevant risk standards, policies and regulations to maintain an effective control environment</li> <li>Support Business and Functions to ensure key metrics presented to location governance committees inform on the health of the risk and control environment</li> <li>Drive and manage projects and initiatives on risk and controls (e.g. regulatory projects and awareness sessions) and provide input to various control committees and forums</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in operations, business or control function within financial services industry</li> <li>Team player, professional and proactive approach to work, positive attitude with an ability to communicate across multiple teams</li> <li>Very strong communication skills both oral and written</li> <li>Ability to drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification and assessment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li> </ul> <p></p> J.P.
