About the role

Quality Engineer Sr (Multiple Positions) – Bloomington, MN. Provide quality control and assurance expertise to deliver high quality software to meet business needs. Duties include: facilitate, manage and coordinate testing activities for various initiatives; build high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing; design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks to reduce manual tests; ensure and maintain stability of test environment; resolve and coordinate testing issues with development teams, vendors, and business users; provide feedback, develop and maintain testing and quality engineering standards policies and procedures; create documentation/reports that show test results and defect trends, and analyze data; research and recommend tools and processes to enhance effectiveness of quality engineering and testing strategies; support and build test data management solutions; and, act as liaison between vendors, contractors and IT Procurement to assess potential applications and systems for purchase. Reqs. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related technical field plus 7 years’ experience developing test scripts, scenarios, and test management; 5 years’ experience with object-oriented programming, coding best practices in Java and .Net development, test data management strategy and modern quality practices; 4 years’ experience with quality engineering practices and standards; and, 2 years’ experience designing and implementing quality engineering standards and processes.
