This is a full-time remote position.

Requirements

We are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics specifically with these requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in leading business intelligence and data analytics teams in a technology-focused organization.
• Strong expertise in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel, Tableau, DOMO).
• Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving business outcomes through data insights.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business intelligence and data analytics strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with senior management to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Facilitate data-driven discussions to drive a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Create and present comprehensive reports and dashboards that communicate key insights and performance metrics to senior management.
• Oversee data collection, storage, and maintenance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to comply with industry regulations and best practices.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business growth and efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable data analytics tools and technologies to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in data analytics and business intelligence to continuously improve the company's data-driven approach.
