YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting Production and Shipping Maintenance Manager opportunity in our Guymon, OK pork processing facility. In this key role, you will lead maintenance operations across the Production Floor, Value Added, and Shipping areas. Your mission is to reduce downtime, drive operational efficiency, and ensure a safe, high-performing production environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and the ability to deliver continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste and maximize uptime.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities on the Production Floor, Value Added Floor, and Shipping areas to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot equipment and facility issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution to reduce production interruptions.
- Identify root causes of operational downtime and implement process improvements to mitigate risks and enhance productivity.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, utilizing lean maintenance methodologies and best practices.
- Implement and standardize practices aimed at waste reduction, cost efficiency, and performance optimization.
- Plan, develop, and manage the facility’s maintenance budget in collaboration with the Director of Maintenance.
- Track, report, and analyze budget expenditures while ensuring fiscal responsibility within operational targets.
- Supervise and mentor maintenance team members, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Schedule and coordinate regular training sessions to keep the team updated on the latest maintenance technologies and practices.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards, industry best practices, and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and logistics, to address maintenance challenges.
- Provide regular performance reports, highlighting improvements, challenges, and areas for further development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Facilities Management, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing, processing, or food production environment.
- Experience in harvest and rendering maintenance departments in a pork or other meat processing environment.
- Expertise in high-volume processing and rendering systems.
- Proficiency in CMMS and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred:
- Experience in pork processing or other food production environments.
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six S
