As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will lead the charge in shaping and driving a global recruitment strategy across all functions – GTM, Tech, and G&A – as we scale rapidly to 700+ employees over the next 18 months. You’ll spearhead strategic projects that set us apart from other employers, with a focus on employer branding, DEI, internships, AI, and recruiting capacity.
This role requires a hands-on leader who will mentor and develop a team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators, ensuring they become outstanding partners to the business and deliver exceptional candidate experiences.
Your success in this role will hinge on building robust, scalable recruiting processes and tech stacks, leveraging data to continuously refine our strategies, and providing insights on emerging talent market trends. You’ll be deeply invested in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, creating actionable plans to address sector challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and own global end to end recruitment strategy for GTM (go to market - sales, field eng, ops, & marketing), Tech (engineering, product & design) and G&A (finance, legal, people, security, data) teams as we scale to 700+ FTE’s in the next 18 months.
- Own and deliver on meaningful strategic projects that differentiate us from other employers, including: employer branding, DEI, internships, AI, and more.
- Develop and mentor your team of recruiters, sourcers and coordinators to be excellent partners to the business, great communicators, proud owners of every candidate experience, and accurate in all that they do.
- Partner with the business as a trusted advisor, and enable functional leaders to make informed, high-quality decisions that meet the speed of our business.
- Define, measure and action plan recruitment metrics and analytics to continually improve our delivery.
- Deliver high quality hires across our business in all roles by building effective interview processes, as well as developing highly capable hiring managers and interviewers.
- Oversee a simple, scalable and effective TA tech stack.
- Understand the talent market deeply and proactively provide insights on emerging trends to hiring and leadership teams, drive the change we need to see.
You are a good fit if you:
- Have significant hands on experience in Talent Acquisition in the global technology sector and throughout various stages of company growth; no job is too big or too small and you’ve “been there, done that”. We want to learn from you, we want you to apply your wisdom and be a part of the work that needs to happen. This role is not for a hands off leader or one who hasn’t gotten their hands dirty in awhile.
- Build and implement incredibly strong operational efficiencies and practices that meet the needs of different orgs (like GTM, EPD, and even internal COEs) and that scale globally.
- Have a demonstrated track record of leading and developing a team in meaningful ways based on their personal strengths and career goals; including ICs and managers. This team is incredibly hard working, they are dedicated to their craft and trusted by the business. They deserve and need a leader who will prioritize what each of them brings to the table as well as enable their development immediately.
- Are excellent at communication, influencing, coaching, partnering, and leadership skills; approachable, authentic and responsive. We are distributed and global so we do a lot async - you must be comfortable with slack, email and other tech systems to get shit done. You must be comfortable responding swiftly, with leading with curiosity and with sharing context (”why”). This matters tremendously and is too easily lost in a remote-world.
- Use data to guide your decisions and help your team focus on the right work. You will need to develop your own dashboards, pull from differen
