Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team!

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate a printing press to produce special occasion items such as invitations, napkins, holiday cards, etc. in our temperature controlled production areas.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues, making adjustments and corrections to meet production and quality standards as needed.

• Inspect finished products for imperfections and proofread to ensure copy is correct.

• Change ink, foil, and die cuts per instruction.

• Pull appropriate amounts of stock for various orders.

• Periodically washing press with solvent and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Your Shift:

• 2nd shift

You Must Have:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and challenging environment

• Ability to discern between different shades of color and to pick out fine details

• Ability to understand verbal and written instruction

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Ability to learn and utilize computer programs for order processing

• Strong team player with a positive attitude towards work and others

• Basic math and problem-solving skills required

• Willing to look at new and innovative ways to improve methods and processes

We Would Also Prefer:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Production experience

• Mechanically inclined

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $17/hr. The actual wage offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
