PROTÉGÉ Graduate Trainee, Civil Engineering (Bangsar South)

Our comprehensive 9-12 month initiative combines career development training with practical on-the-job training, providing essential skills and genuine workplace exposure to establish a robust groundwork for a progressive career ahead. </p> <p><strong>[Note - Program: Graduate Trainee Program (GeT) under the PROTÉGÉ Program]</strong></p> <p><strong>Job Descriptions </strong></p> <ul> <li>Assisting in the planning and design in accordance with relevant design standards, project specifications, and authority requirements.</li> <li>Supporting preliminary design activities, including site assessments, engineering analysis, design option evaluations, and cost estimations.</li> <li>Assisting in detailed design development, including engineering calculations, quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BQ), technical drawings, and design reports.</li> <li>Collaborating with senior engineers to understand client requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.</li> <li>Ensuring assigned tasks are completed accurately and within project timelines.</li> <li>Participating in technical discussions, site visits, and project coordination meetings where required.</li> <li>Performing other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Line Manager.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in <strong>Civil Engineering</strong>.</li> <li>Fresh graduates or candidates with <strong>up to one (1) year of relevant working experience</strong> are encouraged to apply.</li> <li>Basic understanding of highway, pavement, transportation, or infrastructure engineering principles.</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D is an added advantage.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li> </ul>
