About the role

Milliman’s CMH Health Practice is looking for motivated college students pursuing a degree in mathematics or computer science to join our dynamic Health IT team at our Milwaukee, WI office. Engage directly in the development, testing, and documentation of innovative software applications. This role is crucial in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare products.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Develop and refine data visualization solutions using Power BI or similar tools to enhance healthcare services.
  •  Lead rigorous testing phases for BI applications, ensuring optimal performance and insightful data representation.
  •  Spearhead documentation efforts, detailing the functionality and user guides for BI tools and dashboards.
  •  Undertake diverse projects with a focus on advancing healthcare technology through better data interpretation and visualization.


Minimum Requirements

  •  Current college undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  •  Strong inclination towards data analytics, visualization, and/or computer science
  •  Analytical prowess and organizational mastery
  •  Clear and concise communication skills
  •  Commitment to punctuality and reliability
  •  A collaborative spirit with a proactive outlook
  •  Ability to work full-time from the beginning of June to mid-August


Competencies and Behaviors that Support Success in this Role

  •  Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and business intelligence tools. Those with real-world projects in data visualization will be given strong consideration.

The Team
 

CMH Health’s Health IT team is rich with expert collaborators focused on transformative Health IT solutions. We unite to offer groundbreaking support to a diverse client base, including insurance carriers and government entities. 

 

Location: This is an on-site position at our Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL office. The Milwaukee, WI office is preferred.
