Role Summary:

As a Client Architect, you are the technical advisor for key NTT client’s.  Your ability to offer technical insight and guidance to client leadership is pivotal to the health/success of the relationship. 

An ideal Client Architect will possess a broad mix of both technical and “soft” skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across varied audiences.  They will always work with the mentality of keeping the client’s best interest in mind ensuring that Secure-24/industry best practices are followed. 

As required a Client Architect, will interact NTT's Service Delivery Leadership, operational and application engineers, the Client Success Manager, and key customer stakeholders to ensure that the best in class service is being provided.  The underlying foundation of a Client Architect is ensuring technical customer oversight to assure consistent opportunity to grow in their industry.

The client architect will:

•       Act as the Technical Strategic Advisor to key client’s as assigned.

•       Promote a strong sense of partnership between client and NTT.

•       Build and maintain a trusted relationship with key decision makers including but not limited to:

o   Chief Technology and Information Officers

o   Technology Directors

o   Leaders within the client Business Units.

•       Demonstrate technical leadership by working collaboratively with both client and internal teams bridging the gap between business and technical requirements.   

•       Assist the client with key technical decisions providing insight into services provided/offered by NTT.

•       Maintain a deep understanding of the client technical landscape, business and strategic short/long term goals.

•       Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex environments and articulate that analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.

•       Be comfortable presenting in front of groups, leading and/or participating on client calls.

•       Lead by example, have a strong sense of customer service and history of providing quality solutions.

•       Have a “vision forward” mentality by nature always thinking about the next step that could help the client and NTT be successful.  

•       Grow professionally and personally; remain eager to acquire new knowledge while promoting NTT’s values and culture.

Architecture Responsibilities:

•       Assist with maintenance planning when appropriate helping to facilitate discussions between NTT engineers, Service Delivery Leadership and the client. 

•       Assist with providing technical specifications for documentation to Client Success Managers, Technical Writers and other teams when requested.

•       Full responsibility, oversight, and approval for infrastructure changes to assigned client environment. 

•       Assist with Disaster Recovery (DR) tests when required. 

•       Have a solid understanding of the client’s architecture and be capable of providing architectural guidance.

•       Review and approve Billable Change Orders (BCO’s) for assigned client’s specific to technical accuracy and feasibility given current environment structure.

•       Provide proactive evaluation of the client landscape:

o   Recurring tickets.

o   Capacity Trending.

o   Architectural Refreshes including hardware, end-of-life solutions and patch levels.

o   Semi-annual deep dive evaluation complete with risk and recommended actions to be carried out within Service Delivery.

•       Provide timely updates to Service Delivery leadership around current events within assigned customers including but not limited to:

o   Upcoming projects and expansion

o   Existing concerns of system performance

o   Capacity utilization and potential overrun analysis

o   Preventative measures in flight resulting from recent service interruptions

Growth responsibilities:

•       Work with Solution Architects and Account Managers to provide input and suggestions for new revenue using existing knowledge of the client environment. 

•       Work with the NTT Engineering teams to identify any architectural gaps that need to be addressed as part of contract renewal.

•       Look for opportunities for the client to efficiently save money and reduce infrastructure spend while allowing for further strategic growth.

Qualifications:

Industry Experience:

•       7 years in enterprise IT (managed service provider experience preferred) 

•       5 years in estimating financial impact of enterprise architecture alternatives 

•       5 years of experience in IT project management and delivery 

•       5 years of experience in translating business need
