What You’ll Do

As a logistic Manager you will supervise a team responsible for working closely with all critical 3PLs (Freight forwarders, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and destination management, etc.) to ensure service level expectation delivery targets, and goals are clearly communicated, documented, and adhered to.

The primary objective of this role is to work closely with the sales team to meet our customer’s requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.

Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week.

Reports to: Sr. Director, General Accounting

  • Experience with dealing with 3PLs(Freight forwarders, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and destination management, etc.)
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of the International Supply Chain
  • Analyze the cost of proposed logistic changes, such as routing, shipping modes, and carriers
  • Knowledge and expertise for bid optimization, carrier negotiation, and contract reviews
  • Prioritize multiple duties and communicate status and impact as needed to management
  • Demonstrate ability to collaborate internally and externally to develop key partnerships with key business partners and service providers
  • Resolve all immediate service disruptions, freight & custom holds and any other barriers to cargo delivery with the highest sense of urgency
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skill and interpersonal skills in persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution, problem solving and teamwork
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors with 5+ years of transportation industry experience preferred
  • Background of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Ability to prioritize multiple duties and communicate status and impact as needed.
  • Trained and well versed in rules and regulations of the International Supply Chain
  • Related contract review experience and negotiation support skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate internally and externally to develop partnerships with key business partners and service providers
  • Ability to identify and deliver logistics and distribution solutions is required
  • Exercise independent judgement and basic reasoning skills
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Follow up skills, proactive, detailed-oriented, and well organized
  • Ability to coach, train, develop and mentor international logistics specialist & analysts
  • You’re inclusive, adapting your style to the situation and diverse global norms of our people
  • An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding

Base Pay Range$108,000—$218,300 USD
