Senior HR Generalist

Location: Houston, TX

Linde is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our team located in Houston, TX. 

This position will support the Global Helium organization and will assist management and employees relating to all phases of Human Resources.  Employees in this organization reside in the United States, Europe, Asia and Dubai.

What you will be doing:

  • Works closely with management and employees to build and improve relationships, increase and maintain morale, and increase productivity and retention.

     

  • Implementation and execution of human resource programs including but not limited to compensation and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; rewards and recognition; and training and development

  • Aligns HR practices and programs globally across helium organization

  • Partners with talent acquisition to help managers with recruitment by assisting in the requisition and selection process

  • Completes monthly reporting on HR analytics; analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

  • Reviews and processes employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.

  • Assists with developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

What makes you great:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline.

  • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.

  • 5+ years in human resources experience preferred.

  • Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment with a high sense of urgency.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel a minimum of 30%
