Job Description

What this job involves:

As the RPM Team Lead at JLL, you will provide leadership for the Relocation Project Management Planning team in San Antonio, coordinating between JLL RPM Planners, Move Managers, and JLL Workplace Strategy and Occupancy Planning teams. This role requires familiarity with all JLL team roles and service lines while leading a group of Planners and Move Managers responsible for delivering and supporting business initiatives with long-term and daily move programming, space planning, work order requests, and minor construction projects. You'll serve as a critical connection with Occupancy Planners aligned with locations while maintaining expert knowledge of business locations and supporting project forecasts across all JLL teams.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage and assign Planning team initiatives for each Planner while ensuring RPM Planners are trained during onboarding

  • Validate current planning processes, standards, and guidelines and update as required

  • Coordinate across all JLL teams to support project forecasts while maintaining expert knowledge of business locations

  • Assist Client Committees and Location Contacts within businesses while managing space based on business intel and workforce data

  • Establish handoff of clear, concise documents that outline implementation activities for execution

  • Serve as critical connection with Occupancy Planners aligned with locations and communicate back with OP Planning regarding ground-level insights

  • Maintain awareness of capital projects and provide guidance for how RPM planning can support initiatives

  • Realign work activities for clear ownership of responsibilities and avoid duplication of efforts

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years professional experience in combined areas of facilities planning, Interior Design, and/or move management and project management

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD version 2002 or later

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • General knowledge of furniture manufacturers and their offerings

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written, including advanced negotiation skills

  • Solid customer service acumen and interpersonal relationship skills

  • Demonstrated team and collaboration skills with strong organizational skills and process-driven abilities

  • B.S. or B.A. in Interior Design/Architecture or related discipline or related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in CAFM software applications such as ARCHIBUS

  • Advanced understanding of move requirements, reconfiguration processes, and furniture inventory management and occupancy planning concepts

  • Experience with Project Management processes and tools

  • Proficiency in working in diverse stakeholder landscape, balancing competing and conflicting interests

  • Ability to succeed in fast-paced, demanding, and fluid work environment

  • Strong customer service skills recognizing and meeting needs of customers and partners at all organizational levels
