The Marketing Assistant is responsible for taking on various tasks that support the successful completion of marketing campaigns and programs. Working under the direction of the Co-Director of Marketing, they will help with building and maintaining strong working relationships by effectively communicating with team members, partners, and customers to coordinate efforts. The Marketing Assistant will also help with project management and scheduling, documenting internal processes, and performing other marketing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining strong working relationships through effective communication with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners
  • Writing clear email communications and meeting notes
  • Taking meeting notes and recording action items to help delegate tasks
  • Documenting and maintaining instructions on critical marketing processes
  • Setting up meetings and coordinating marketing calendars
  • Assisting with marketing research
  • Assisting in monitoring the email communications
  • Prioritizing any marketing mailbox redirecting requests as needed
  • Assisting with production by working with vendors on required specifications for marketing deliverables
  • Assisting with event coordination

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consistent administrative support experience, with proven reliability and responsibility
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong software skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and creating presentations
  • Proven ability to do in-depth and accurate research
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset
  • Solution-oriented mindset
PayPublished rates are based on Sacramento area; pay for remote positions is reviewed & established based on specific location. Depending on level of experience.-50k-55k
